Step by step sm-g975n firmware installation guide

Requirements

Flashing process for sm-g975n firmware

  1. First, install the Samsung USB drivers you downloaded
  2. Then extract the Odin tool and the Samsung sm-g975n flash file into a folder. Make sure to use third-party extraction tool like WinRar
  3. Now run the .exe file of the Odin.
  4. Then enable developer options in the drive. Go to Settings –> About device –>Build number –> Tap seven times –> Enter the password/pattern or the pin they ask –> Developer option
    Next, go to the developer options and enable USB debugging.
  5. As the next step, you need to boot the s10 plus into download mode. In order to that,
    1. Turn off the device.
    2. Press and hold the Volume Down + Bixby buttons for a couple of seconds while connecting it with the USB cable.
    3. Release the buttons when you see the screen changing.
    4. As the last step click the OK with the volume up button.
  6. Connect the USB cable to the PC
  7. When the device is detected by the Odin, it will show you an Added message.
  8. Browse back to the folder that extracts the sm-g975n firmware and place the AP, BL, CP, and CSC files in the necessary slots.
  9. Then tick the F.Rest and auto-reboot from the options.
  10. Finally, click the start button.
  11. When the S10 plus is completely flashing, Odin will show you a pass message.
